For a few years in the 2010s, I made year-end CDs, not of “the best” of that year, but of my favorites from what I had heard. And if a few songs from the previous year (or even many years previous) made the tracklist, well, it’s my CD and I’ll cheat if I want to.
The design of this 2015 volume is inspired by those classic Columbia House Record Club ads of the 1970s and ’80s, as well as groovy hi-fi ads from the ’60s.
